23 guns, real sights
Aim down sights, fight the recoil, pick your calibre. Grenades and molotovs for the rest. Logging out mid-fight kills you.
Events
Hack the locked crate
Hold the oil rig for fifteen minutes against a dropship of heavies, or bring down the bandit helicopter for its elite crates.
Clans
Plant a flag
Found a clan on it: shared doors, allies, clan chat and a shop. If the flag falls, the clan falls with it.
Vehicles & air defence
Fly, drive, shoot down
Minicopters, helicopters, quads and parachutes. SAM sites fire at anything with rotors.
Farm & craft
Grow it, craft it, trade it
Hemp for cloth, aloe for medicine, sprinklers that need water. Unlock blueprints, press your own ammo and sell at player shops.

Frequently asked questions
When does BlockNation launch?
There is no date yet: BlockNation is an upcoming server, still in development. The launch date will be announced in the Discord first, so joining it now is the way to be there on day one.
Can I play BlockNation before launch?
Yes, if you want to test what is built so far. Ask in the Discord with your exact Minecraft username and an admin adds you to the whitelist. There is no form and no fee.
Which Minecraft version do I need, and do I need mods?
Minecraft Java Edition 1.21.11, with no mods. Everything custom is server-side; the resource pack with the models, textures and sounds is sent to your client automatically when you join.
What is custom about BlockNation?
Sixteen plugins written for this server and over a hundred custom items and blocks: 23 firearms with aim-down-sights, recoil and their own sounds; C4 and rockets that strip walls one tier at a time across four tiers; a crafting bench with blueprints, a recycler, a refinery, a bullet press and a repair bench; clans founded on a clan flag, with garage doors and door access; minicopters, helicopters, quads, parachutes and SAM sites; hemp and aloe farming; radiation zones and hazmat suits; medkits, bandages and syringes; bandits, a bandit helicopter with elite crates, and an oil rig event with a locked crate. The resource pack installs itself when you join.
Can I play solo, or do I need a clan?
Both work. A solo player can farm, craft, raid and run PvE events alone. Clans are founded by placing a clan flag and add shared door access, allies, clan chat and a clan shop.
How do raids work?
Walls come in four tiers: wood, stone, sheet metal and armored. A C4 charge or a rocket strips one tier off the blocks it reaches, so a stone wall takes two charges and an armored wall four. A building hammer repairs and upgrades walls in place, garage doors open only for their owner, ammo crates spill their rounds when destroyed, and SAM sites shoot down helicopters. Logging out in combat kills you, and the bases of players who stop logging in decay.
How do the Discord rewards work?
Messages, reactions and voice time on the Discord earn XP and levels. Milestone levels (5, 10, 25 and 50) grant in-game rewards, delivered to a mailbox you open in game with /mailbox once your accounts are linked. Discord also mirrors your in-game stats: kills, deaths, K/D, playtime, blocks placed and the leaderboard.
Is this the same BlockNation as older Minecraft servers with that name?
No. This BlockNation is a new server, and its website is playblocknation.net. Older Minecraft servers that used the name BlockNation, with other addresses, are not connected to it.

Your first join: register, then link your Discord
On your first join, create a password with /register <password> <password>. After that it is /login <password> every time, and your name is yours from then on.
To link your Discord, run /trigger bn_link in game to get a code, then /link <code> in the Discord. Rewards you earn on Discord land in your in-game /mailbox.
